An Angel Reminder: WE ARE NOT PERMANENT RESIDENTS ON EARTH - BUT GUESTS FOR THE NIGHT.

Hospitality is a wonderful attribute; it is also an attitude. Truly hospitable people regard their homes, and hearts - as open hearths to those who may pass through needing physical, emotional, or spiritual sustenance. In so doing, their lives become a metaphor for heaven.

The angels want us to understand that the entire universe is constructed according to the laws of hospitality, for aren't we all, ultimately, guests of God? As guests, we are beholden to our host to be properly grateful and to extend, when we are able, the same hospitality to others.

When we are truly hospitable, from the hearth to the heart, we are not disillusioned if our hospitality is taken advantage of or not returned, for we know, that true hospitality is not merely not an action but an attitude, our natural response to the generosity we ourselves have received from the universe.

Hospitality is one part gratefulness and one part generosity. If you would like to develop an attitude of hospitality, begin by being grateful simply to be guest here on earth. Think of your needs that have been taken care of, your wants that have been answered. Then try extending a little more hospitality toward others by being more generous with your time, your support, your interest, your love.

An Angelic Reflection: I RECEIVE HOSPITALITY WITHOUT GREED; I EXTEND HOSPITALITY WITHOUT FEAR.
