Josie Santos, Pinay manager of Pinoy Relax - a mobile phone company in Austria that caters to the need of the Filipino community- is very happy that the company celebrates its  6^th year anniversary.

Santos was a former insurance agent before joining Pinoy Relax. Her old job helped her improve her skills in selling and promoting the company’s products.

“Ever since I started here, I've really felt at ease. Actually, I do not have lots of difficulties in selling the product. As an insurance agent before, I have already the needed background to sell a specific product,” said Santos.

Whether at work or at social functions, Santos offers and promotes Pinoy Relax to every Filipino Austrian she meets.

“Lahat ng mga Pilipinong makita ko, tinatanong ko kung gusto nilang magka-cellphone. Everywhere I go, in the underground train, in the church, even in restaurants where Filipinos meet, I always approach them and ask if they want to apply for a Pinoy Relax cellphone. Lahat ng Pilipino organization pinupuntahan ko para magbigay ng mga flyers, magbigay ng sponsors, mag-promote talaga,” Santos said.

Austrian businessman Arion Schutz introduced Pinoy Relax, a specially-designed T-Mobile product that offers affordable and best quality mobile phone service for the Filipino Austrian community.

“The vision of Pinoy Relax is to establish a powerful platform for the Filipino community here in Austria. Through this platform, we will be able to get more special deals from several Austrian companies which are only for the Austrian Filipino community,” Schutz said.

Schutz is glad that Santos will be the one managing the company. He described Santos as someone dedicated, responsible and trustworthy.

“I am very much thankful that Josie Santos, the one responsible for the enormous success of Pinoy Relax, is very dedicated in her role as manager of this company. I've never seen people like Josie, who are really dedicated in their work. I would trust them 100%. With Josie as an example, I believe in what they do and they really do their best in order to achieve their dreams. These are some tenets which I learned from the Filipinos,” Schütz Bikol Express.

Throughout the years, Santos and the team were able to gather hundreds of Pinoy Relax clients.

“I've known Josie since 1994 kasi kasama ko ang asawa niya sa McDonalds. Madali siyang i-approach para humingi ng tulong,” Rita Pederales said.

Santos said she put in a lot of patience, goodwill and faith in God to achieve her dreams.

“Magkaroon tayo ng faith sa Panginoon, we believe na ang gagawin, at saka ‘yong dream natin, ipagdasal natin at siguradong makukuha natin. And of course, a lot of hard work, kasi dito talaga, pinuhunan ko ang hardwork lahat ng pawis at iyak, naranasan ko talaga dito. Pero ngayon kuntento naman kami,” Santos said.

Santos is grateful to her “kababayans” in Austria for their support in Pinoy Relax. She assured them that the company will do its best to serve the needs of their Pinoy clients.
